Gas Fuel Technologies is an independent service, parts and engineering support company that is privately owned and operated.
Our speciality is support for gas engines and gas compressor packages but also encompasses engine and electric motor driven pumps. As Altronic Distributors we support customers with gas engine ignition systems, speed governing and complete control system products for their gas compressors, pumps and mechanical drive equipment.
Altronic also offer their innovative Bi-fuel systems that allow diesel engines to operate on up to 70% natural gas fuel with minimal modifications allowing the engine to revert to standard diesel operation if required. The use of natural gas in place of the liquid fuel offers huge cost savings and can also extend the operating period for emergency generators equipped with (24 hr) day tanks.
We are also distributors for Champion and Stitt industrial spark plugs and can offer cross referencing to allow customers an aftermarket offering for expensive OEM spark plugs.
We also offer consultancy services with in-house engineering capabilities to design, modify and upgrade engine or electric driven gas compressors, pumps and mechanical drive packages. We have completed many control system upgrades replacing obsolete and unreliable systems and allowing for integration with modern control architectures such as DCS and SCADA.
