The Health and Family Welfare Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu is in the process of implementing a new health project named Tamil Nadu Urban Health Care Project in the health sector with the funding support from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The goal of the project is to improve the health outcomes of the people of Tamil Nadu especially the poor and disadvantaged accessing Government medical institutions in the urban areas.
To ensure a good impact with the available limited resources, SIPCOT has created Industrial Complexes and Parks, strategically located in Twenty One places and Twelve Districts, which occupy a place of pride in the State's industrial map.
